“The obvious question is whether this plan is going to be enough to make Camden Yards a destination until, and through, the time when this team is good again.”
Jon I appreciate your insight...and I understand that you don't have any inside information on the business decision-making. But I am baffled by their approach to their fan base this offseason. I've been a 13-game plan holder since 1990. This is the first offseason I can recall where they actually reduced the benefits to mini-plan holders (by getting rid of free spring training tickets.) Typically there is at least some sort of communication from the team -- in the form of an email from the GM, manager, etc. -- thanking fans for their support and looking ahead to the new year. This year there was nothing. It's as if every possible corner has been cut to save a dollar. Even the traditional holiday card was scrapped in favor of a basic, bare-minimum email greeting. I understand why there was no Fanfest or Winter Caravan this year, but in the past couple of years there were Zoom calls with players. It's amazing to me there were no zoom calls with former players...or with Elias and Mejdal...or literally anyone offered to season ticket holders. All of this combined with the refusal last spring to televise more than 2 spring training games...the release of popular broadcasters...the lack of regular discount ticket nights...it just seems as though they're trying to make things as awful as possible before the hoped-for turnaround. Almost like making a "before" picture as bad as you can before going on that diet -- it's like they want the attendance to be low. It's maddening -- and it doesn't make me feel very appreciated as a long-time, loyal customer.
I'm not sure really what my question was after that long rant, but -- can you make any sense of it?
Can you get me tix for McCartney

No “if” correct?

Thanks.
When will Crack the Sky play Camden Yards? That’s a sure HR for old-school Baltimore fans (like me).
I appreciate your point of view, but I'm not getting my hopes up for anything having to do with the O's.
