At seemingly every juncture of the Wild Card round that didn’t involve the Toronto Blue Jays, playoff baseball so far has been defined by absolutely dominant starting pitching that pulled into focus an area where the Orioles will be doing some deep examination in the coming weeks and months.
They got markedly better on the mound this season, and the rotation in particular had periods of real strength. But is better actually good enough for where they want to go? And if not, what do they do about it?
